Pine Cone Social is a botanical farm in the rustic front range of Northern Colorado with gorgeous mountain views, natural prairie grasses, and farm animal companions. Promoting sustainable gardening and decor, more than 300 xeric perennials, flowers, shrubs and trees surround our rotunda and gathering spaces. In addition to water-wise flowers, sunflower fields, and a pumpkin patch, the property boasts a historic train car, solar greenhouse, and glamorous iron gazebo. Beautiful outdoor areas nestled amongst colorful crops create uncommon gathering spaces for discriminating customers who appreciate a sense of family, authenticity, affordability and personal connection.
Our story.... Who would imagine a psychologist from Texas and a tennis teaching pro from Vermont would open an event venue on a flower farm in Colorado? It actually made perfect sense.
Firmly grounded in the spirit of southern hospitality, I grew up enjoying large family style gatherings where relatives came together to celebrate, eat, laugh, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a lifelong dream of owning my own venue, my passion was put on pause to raise a family and pursue a career as a psychologist, supporting others through life transitions and stress.
Living in Colorado for more than 25 years, my husband, Dan, and I both love the outdoors and hard work and have turned a dream into a reality. As a team, we both had years of experience working at venues and throwing parties, with Dan managing social events for his club. When the chance arose to buy a 9 acre farm in beautiful Firestone and open a venue, Dan and I jumped on the opportunity.
As venue manager, I am a dedicated hostess, gardener, and DIYer with a passion for people, upcycling, and attention to detail. I can't wait to make your dream a reality too.
